Manifesto
Manifesto Mind Map

For our group manifesto, we came up with ten important things that we live by.

1. Show respect for diversity

In this video, we decided to show the wring way of being respectful in black and white and having the correct way of showing respect in colour. While making this video, lots of thought was put into the creation of this by having two people show the right and wrong way of showing respect.

2. Be Positive

In this video, we wanted two people, Moran and Eva, to react negatively to having to go outside in the rain while Me and Brume reacted positively to going out in the rain.

3. Being Relaxed

For being relaxed, we had Eva and Brume be stiff while being at a local concert that had been held at Alfred. Moran and I had been loose and danced at the concert showing that there is always time to be relaxed.

4. Don’t give up

For not giving up, Brume acted as though she had failed her english exam and decided to give up. When Moran was told that she had failed her english exam, she realized that she only needed to study more to do better.

5. Try different media

For this video, we want Brume to stuck on the concept that she only wants to use one specific media, while Moran is willing to try different media to make her art.

6. Be original

For this video, wanted someone, Brume, to copy others while I was inspired by others but didn’t copy their work.

7. Respect Nature

For this video, we wanted Moran and Brume to “rip” out leaves, and “destroy” the tree while Eva and I respect it.

8. Be Brave

For this video, we wanted Moran to be afraid to try new things while Eva was nervous about doing so, tried it anyways.

9. Be sensitive towards others

For this video, we wanted someone, me, to be emotionless to a heart wrenching science reacted by Moran and Brume, and have Eva be emotional to the scene.

10. Value our friends and family

In our final video we wanted to show that we aren’t always valuing our time together.

Grand video and final thoughts.

My final thoughts on this project,
I throughly enjoyed working on this prose with my friends. Many times while we worked on it, we laughed and joked around, We all came up with different ideas on how to portray each manifesto and we all made it work seamlessly.

Until the next big project!

Daily Practice. #1- Tuesday to Friday

Due: 28-10-19

For my daily practice, I decided to make it a practice to take pictures of my walks to and from classes each day.

Tuesday Morning

On Tuesday morning, it was pretty cold outside, but the leaves on the trees looked lovely with the red and yellow leaves decorating the ground.

Tuesday Afternoon

Tuesday afternoon had much better weather since a rainbow formed from it raining all day with the mix of sunshine.

Wednesday Evening

Wednesday night, and that meant late night classes to attend to. As I was on my way to class from Adès Hall. The sun was setting and though that this was a perfect way to document my way to class.

Thursday Morning

Thursday was a bit of a rush day. This picture documents the the rush of the day by having me walk while taking a photo of my way to my 8:20 class.

Friday Morning

It was Friday morning after class. I was walking with my friend Moran. I took a picture of her picking up a leaves as we where heading to lunch.

This concludes my daily practice for this week. Until next Sunday night!

Manifesto

Due date: 22-10-19

I am a mixed media artist who does not shy away from any art material.

I am an artist with no plan in mind other than to create great pieces of at work.

I am an artist who puts aesthetic over perfect work.

I am an artist who works on exposing how beautiful the androgynous side of a person looks.

I am not an arsist who posts their work for likes and comments.

I do not make art to make quick cash.

I am an artist who draws for the sake of being an artist who is constantly learning new tricks and techniques.

Pocket Collection

Due 21-10-19

For todays blog, we begin with the first day of Studio Research for Foundations. Today we, as a class, were told to go around and ask random people of Main Street of Alfred. Nine items where collected from five random people.

The first items that where collected were three Tootsie Roll’s. I had gotten them from the lady of the Convenience Store. The story that she proved me, was that when people use their credit card, they need to pay $5, and if they do not have enough, they can buy candy to bring up the price.

While walking away, I ran into someone who was walking their dog. I asked if they had anything in their pocket they were willing to give up and they handed me a plastic bag from their walk around town.

The next stop was the post office. While I was there, there was a lady was readying a package. When I asked her if she had anything that she was willing to give up, she gave me the original envelope that she had planned on using to send her mail.

After having 3 people to talk to, I still wanted to look for more people to talk to. I then saw a man that was loading up a cart that was delivering food to the near by restaurants, he gave me his pen with his company’s logo, Keck’s Food Service.

I then ran into two students who where on their way to take a test. When I asked them if they had anything they were willing to give anything up, the two of them gave their pens and pencils that they were going to use. I asked them if they needed it, and they said no.

The last person I had meet was a woman who worked at the Alfred Pharmacy. I had asked one of the women who were busy working away and one of them came up to me saying she had went to the Bills game with it, forgot about it and then found it in her pocket.

This concludes my one of many adventures that will happen in Studio Research Class. Till next time~ Duckie
